What to expect
Exercise designed with you in mind
Our sessions have been designed by fitness and health professionals with your long term wellbeing in mind. They are a combination of cardio and resistence exercises.
The exercise areas have a wide variety of exercise equipment consisting of Treadmills (2), Cross Trainers, Monarch Cycles (6), Schwinn Airdynes (5), Rowing Machines (6), and a further selection of recumbent and upright cycles together with step ups, Thera bands and multigym.
The morning and afternoon sessions are supervised by a session leader and member of the medical support staff; these sessions are well attended by patrons each enjoying their own individual flexible exercise regimes.
The evening sessions are a form of circuit training, whereby the patrons exercise for 4 minutes on each of the 10 stations preceded by a 4 minute warm up and finished by a 4 minute cool down.
All Gym sessions cost £2.50 per session.
